编辑1848年，欧米茄诞生于瑞士西北部的拉绍德芬（La Chaux-de-Fonds），创始人路易士·勃兰特（Louis Brandt）在当地办了一家装嵌怀表的小工坊，开始了欧米茄初期的制表事业。1894年制造出了“Omega”19令机芯，此机芯获得欧洲几家著名天文台颁发的精确计时证书，公司决定以此重新命名，并以希腊字母“Ω”作为标志，欧米茄名称自此诞生。

欧米茄与登月成就

1969年，NASA为第一次登月做准备，当时第四代超霸系列专业腕表被选用执行“阿波罗”任务。1969年7月21日格林威治标准时间2时56分，宇航员尼尔·阿姆斯特朗踏上月球表面，实现了人类首次登月的伟大创举。15分钟后，巴兹·奥尔德林 (Buzz Aldrin) 也踏上月球表面，至此，在传奇的阿波罗11号任务中，超霸系列专业腕表成为第一块人类佩戴于月球上的腕表。不久之后，它便被赋予了“月球表”这个著名的称号。直至阿波罗17号的最后一次登月，欧米茄超霸系列专业腕表在每一次登月任务中都为宇航员提供了最精准的计时保障。seline; top: -0.5em; margin-left: 2px; color: rgb(51, 102, 204); cursor: pointer; padding: 0px 2px;”> [5] 

欧米茄与奥林匹克

编辑seline; top: -0.5em; margin-left: 2px; color: rgb(51, 102, 204); cursor: pointer; padding: 0px 2px;”>[8] 欧米茄向来以精准度而闻名，尤其在近半个世纪著名的精准度测试中的精准纪录，建立了欧米茄精准的地位与声誉。延续此一理念与传统，欧米茄于2015与瑞士联邦计量研究院（metaS）合作推出了至臻天文台表认证（metaS）。至臻天文台认证至臻天文台认证是拥有高抗磁性测试的认证，业界普遍采用的瑞士天文台认证（C.O.S.C.）并未包含抗磁测试。欧米茄与瑞士联邦计量研究院（metaS）合作，制订了全新的至臻天文台认证规格，且列入了抗磁达15,000高斯的检测内容，检测程序与结果由瑞士联邦计量研究院监控。至臻天文台认证检测内容至臻天文台认证的测试过程不仅仅适用于机芯，并针对整只组装完工腕表进行检测。所有送检的机芯必须先获得瑞士天文台（C.O.S.C）认证，才能送交至臻天文台认证检测，裸机芯先行针对抗磁性做检测，精准度达到标准的机芯则可送交回工厂进行组装，机芯装壳组装完成后，再送回检测中心进行更多进一步的检测。至臻天文台认证规定的精度误差不得超过每日0至+5秒（C.O.S.C.测试标准为每日-4至+6秒），检测过程所有表款以日夜连续的方式监测，内容包括以下八项测试：1.
